AUSTIN EUBANKS VOTED

Congratulations to the July Employee of the Month in Grand Prairie.
Austin started his career with Lone Star Communications on November 7, 2018, in the warehouse as the Warehouse Assistant. He now holds the position of Warehouse Manager. Austin has shown great persistence and drive in his position. He has stepped up to the plate as everyone has said. He exhibits the values of One Team and One Purpose in the warehouse (and throughout Lone Star) and makes sure what needs to be done is done. Austin shows the value of being One Family by always helping anyone who needs it. He is constantly saying how appreciative he is of others, but we are just as appreciative of him.

Austin has been a great asset to the LSC team. He started out in the GP office as a WHS Assistant and was recently promoted to WHS manager. Austin has stepped up, taken on the new challenge and is doing a great job! Austin is well liked and I’m proud to have him on my team. Matthus Parnell joined Lone Star Communications as an Installer on July 19th, 2021 at LSC Grand Prairie and reports to Chris Bell. He spent the summer of 2018 working with us in the Fab Shop and Warehouse.
In Matthus’ spare time he flies airplanes. He also enjoys cooking and drawing.

MARISSA CERNA VOTED EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH!
The Employees of Lone Star Communications Houston have voted Marissa Cerna our July 2021 Employee of the Month.
Nicole Flores will be passing the baton to Marissa Cerna. It would be cool if we had a real baton.
Marissa has been with Lone Star (Halco) since November of ’06. This year will mark her 15 year anniversary.
Marissa was born in Allende N.L. Mexico and moved to Houston when she was 2 years old where she grew up and ultimately went to work at Halco (now Lone Star Communications Houston), on November 2, 2006. That same year “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest” topped the box office charts and “Bad Day” by Daniel Powter was the number one single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. You remember “Bad Day” – “You’re coming back down, and you really don’t mind / You had a bad day / You had a bad day” Hope that doesn’t get stuck in your head the rest of the day. You’re welcome.
Marissa enjoys spending time with the grandkids any chance she gets. She likes watching scary movies and dislikes being home alone, especially when watching the scary movies (just a guess). She also likes to go visit family in Mexico and travel to places where she can enjoy mountains and rivers.
Marissa considers her biggest accomplishment paying off her 1st house and just about paying off the second one. Now that is an accomplishment. Congratulations! She enjoys volleyball but as far as other sports go, she is not a fan of any team in particular – especially the Texans (just a guess).
Fun Fact: The picture of Marissa above earned her the “Best Dressed” award in the LSCH 2020 employee photography shoot.

KATHRYN MARSHALL VOTED MAY EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH!
I am proud to announce that our Kathryn Marshall has been chosen as Employee of the Month for July.

She constantly goes out of her way to make sure information is correct, even if it does not directly relate to what she does. In working with her, I have learned so much. Reynaldo Deleon joined Lone Star Communications as a Technician on July 26,2021 at the San Antonio office and reports to David Gonzalez. He brings more than 8 years of Structured Cabling experience and provided customer service with Spectrum.
In Rey’s spare time he likes to do content creation, OS troubleshooting, and game coding.

WALTER RYAN VOTED EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH!
I would like to congratulate Walter Ryan on being chosen by the LSAR team as the June Employee of the Month. Walter is a Service Tech in our Little Rock office and has been with the company 3 ½ years. He was nominated based on his focus of providing excellent customer service and being a team player. He will be receiving a gift card and an certificate. Congratulations Walter!!

Congratulations to Melissa Woodruff for graduating on June 10th, 2021 with an Associate's in Business Science from Columbia Southern University in Foley, Alabama. She is now working on her Bachelor's Program in the same specialty.
Drew Lavender joined Lone Star Communications as Service Manager in the LSAR/North Little Rock office. He began his employment on July 19th, 2021 under the supervision of Brandon Myran. Drew brings 9 years of experience and has expertise in electrical, fire alarm, and other low voltage applications. We look forward to having him on the team.
In his spare time Drew likes to spend time with his wife and 2 daughters, read a good book, and tinkering in his shop.

Shawn Jones joined Lone Star Communications as a Sprinkler Foreman/Fitter in the LSAR/North Little Rock office. He began his employment on July 19th, 2021 under the supervision of Zach Wilson. Shawn brings more than 24 years of Sprinkler experience with expertise in managing projects and field staff. We are happy to have him on the team.
