LONE STAR COMMUNICATIONS PROMOTES IT SPECIALIST JON PENNINGTON FURTHER SOLIDIFYING ITS COMMITMENT TO PROMOTE FROM WITHIN
Top US Security & Life-Safety Communications Company realigns staff to streamline its operations
GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas (June 14, 2022) – Lone Star Communications, a Texas-based leader in the life safety industry, is realigning its management team to further streamline its operation.
Lone Star Communications’ Jon Pennington is being promoted to Manager of IT Operations for Lone Star Communications. This move will place LSC IT team members in all regions under Jon to create a single position to oversee IT operations for all regions. Lone Star Communications will now have a single leader that can align all daily IT processes, project/integration implementations, IT support, and continual process improvement throughout Lone Stars’ 8 offices. Jon is well qualified for the position, beginning his academic career in electrical engineering, he earned a degree in history from the University of Houston. Jon will report to CTO, Jeff Richard. Jon originally joined the Halco IT team which eventually transitioned to Lone Star Communications. Jon’s extensive 22 years in IT will serve the IT team and Lone Star Communications well as it has spanned healthcare, oil and gas, and real estate with a focus on leading teams implementing and supporting network, exchange, and application systems. Jon has been instrumental in developing the IT portion of the acquisition playbook and will continue to contribute his expertise and leadership in this role to support the growth and expansion of Lone Star Communications to achieve our strategic goals in support of the LSC vision.
